I’ve been making do with steel clamps for a long time but finally broke down and bought carbide clamps. And i have to admit they’re sweet! I can file all round the tang to make it absolutely flush with the guard.
The carbide doesn’t even scratch and the transition is mirror smooth. I’m realltlooking forward to seeing how good the result will be!
Not cheap but well worth every cent.
