Recently I finished a set of 4 identical razors for a customer. The biggest issue was doing everything 1 step at a time, working step by step on 1 razor, and then doing the same thing on the others. The steel is wootz, the scales are olive burl.
Overall, the razors are near identical (minor deviations in blade width) except for the grain in the wood and the pattern of the wootz steel. Even coming from the same ingot (block of smelted steel) the pattern is going to different in every wootz razor.
