Japanese style vegetable knife

I was asked to make a Japanese style vegetable knife. I decided to go with damascus for the sides so I made a billet with different types of steel and different layer densities. There are about 100 layers on each side in various densities. And for longevity of the edge I chose 52100 ball bearing steel.

For the handle I chose stabilized walnut burl because I just love the natural pattern complexity of the burl.
