My Pendray wootz razor project is going to be in the next round of heat treatment. I just drilled the holes for fitting the gems.
These gems are ruby, sapphire and diamond. Red white and blue. They’re set in 18k gold, which makes mounting them a lot easier than working with loose gemstones.

With the gems now all test fitted, the next step is creating the space for holding the golden medallion in the tail.
