Something different this time. Stainless damasteel kitchen knife. The handles are some form of acrylic in honeycomb mesh. Not sure what it is called, I bought it at a knife show. Stefan Steigerwald did the heat treatment.
Not a whole lot of forging was involved in this knife. I used a piece of damasteel flat stock, and only forged the tip pointy to make it longer. The rest was all stock removal.
Having the heat treatment done professionally meant I could do all sanding and grinding pre-heat treatment. After HT I just had to polish with 600 grit and etch.
